Arts & Crafts

Schools and colleges are good places to try out a variety of different arts and crafts.

There are many different types of arts and crafts including:

  • Sewing and knitting
  • Clay modelling
  • Pottery
  • Painting and drawing
  • Calligraphy
  • Card making
  • Jewellery making

There are clubs and societies that will teach you many of the different arts and craft skills and will often provide you with the equipment you will need for a small fee.

Arts and crafts for the disabled

Just because you are disabled it doesn't mean you can't take part in arts and crafts activities. Arts and crafts are often used as a means of expression by many disabled people so if you would like to give it a try ask you school or care worker for more information.
