October Half Term

Project / Activity Information
Detached – The detached youth workers will be out around Blaenau Gwent all summer, so join them for fun games, information and support.
Open 4 Youth – Join the Youth Service at our monthly young person (11 – 17) only evening at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre. Huge range of activities available including hydro slides, football, gym, zorb balls, free running and much more – all for £1 per person.
Free Football Fridays – Gather your friends and enter a team in our weekly 5 a side leagues at Ebbw Vale and Abertillery sports centres. You can check your progress each week in updated league tables, finishing in a regional tournament that will bring everyone together on Friday.
Chat Tuesdays – Closed to Prevent / Lift Young People
Learn how to cook healthy along with the do’s and don’ts of dieting and exercise. Also workshops around anxiety and looking after your mental health with great taster sessions.
Life Changes Project – Closed to Prevent / Lift Young People
Health and wellbeing activities, acupuncture ,cooking and eating together etc. Life Changes returning each week to share in the wide amount of activities for young people to access advice , support and activities linked to issues that may be preventing them from engaging in education , employment and +training but also the wider community.
