YM@6 and All Time Low Tour

On the 9th February, I went to see the very first YOU ME AT SIX arena concert of the YM@6 and All Time Low co headline tour. To say their performances were incredible would be an understatement.

All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, formed in 2003. Since their formation the band has consisted of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist and backing vocalist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson. The band's name is taken from lyrics in the song "Head on Collision" by New Found Glory. The band consistently tours all year long, headlining numerous tours, and has appeared at music festivals including Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds and Soundwave.

As a massive fan of both bands I thought it was ecstatic, and the atmosphere was indescribable! It was a 'you had to be there' moment in my life because no words can describe it.

I had no clue of the set list for the show so it was all very much a surprise to us with a mix of old and new songs which was great and most importantly ym@6 played my favorite song by them, an old one called 'crash'. The crowds reaction to this was phenomenal and as soon as Josh (lead singer) said to the crowd to get your phone lights out, we instantly knew it was crash , or at least I did.

I was overwhelmed at this point and I nearly started crying out of pure excitement, it was really touching.

Not to mention how great all time low and walk the moon were as well, the way they interacted with the crowd and there wasn't a dull moment throughout the performances.

Everyone seemed to enjoy it no matter what band they were there for.

Got something to say?
